The founder had an idea for a smarter way for digital nomads to hunt for Airbnbs. The official site is fine for booking, but terrible for researching multiple cities over time, especially when you're chasing the best value. He wanted advanced filters, price tracking, and email alerts when deals dropped. No lengthy discovery phase on this one. I had the brief, I understood the problem, and I went straight to designing.
I delivered a full design system, marketing website, and web app screens, translating a rough idea into a cohesive product interface. This project sharpened my ability to make fast, confident design decisions when there's no room for months of research. I iterated on the first few versions of the build directly with the founder/frontend engineer going through multiple rounds of feedback.
